Litigation

 Home / Litigation

Litigation is simply a highly structured form of dispute resolution. Unfortunately, it is also expensive and a “zero sum” game: someone wins and someone loses. Experienced businesses, in particular, historically avoid the risk of litigation where possible. In some cases, it is unavoidable. Assessing whether to litigate or not is a crucial analysis. Alternatives such as mediation and arbitration need to be explored.

We have litigated in state and federal courts around the country, and in southern Florida in particular.

Knowing the law is only one important asset: knowing how to navigate the system, and knowing your adversary and how to posture a matter for optimum leverage during litigation, are skills that come with many years of experience.
